Wholesale Whale is a dealer-only platform. All users must represent a licensed dealership, financial institution, or manufacturer. Account setup is fast, secure, and designed to ensure only verified professionals gain access to inventory and deal flow.
⚡️ Getting Started
Visit https://wholesalewhale.com and click the Open App button in the top-right corner.
Enter your email address.
If you already have an account, you’ll receive a secure login link via email.
If you don’t have an account, you’ll be taken through the sign-up process after confirming your email.

Step 1: User Details
First name
Last name
Cell phone and desk phone (should be direct lines – no generic or marketing numbers)
ℹ️ These numbers are shared with other dealers after connection. Only decision-makers should sign up.
Step 2: Business Setup
Choose your business type:
Dealership
Financial Institution*
Manufacturer*
Then fill out:
Business name
Main phone number
Website
Physical address of business
State and postal code
Certification checkbox confirming you're authorized to represent the business
Once submitted, your account is created and enters a verification phase (usually completed within the hour).
*Financial & OEM accounts will be contacted by a sales representative to go over specific needed requirements.
✔️ License Submission
Before you can access the marketplace:
Navigate to Settings > Account Settings
Scroll to the Account License section
Click Add License
Enter:
Market Type (RV, Boats, Powersports)
Licensing State (based on your address – cannot be changed)
License Number
License Expiration Date
Once verified, you gain access to buy and sell in that market.
ℹ️ If your license covers multiple product types (e.g., RV and Powersports), reuse the same number for each market.
🔑 Subscription Model
Free Plan: First 5 dealer-to-dealer connections are included.
Paid Plan: After your 5th connection, you’ll need to subscribe.
Starts at $299/month
There are no per-unit listing fees or commissions.
👤 Team Management
You can invite teammates by clicking Add User.
Role Types:
Manager: Can add/remove users and edit account settings
User: Can access all listing & offer functions but not manage team members or account settings
ℹ️ All users can add/edit/remove listings and offers. All actions are stored for history and context.
Max 5 users per account
Users can belong to multiple accounts with different roles on each
❓ FAQs
What if I’m a financial institution or manufacturer?
Your account will be reviewed manually. A Wholesale Whale rep will reach out to finalize onboarding.
Can I access multiple markets?
Yes — but you must upload a valid license for each one (RV, Powersports, Marine).
Do I need to complete setup more than once?
No. Once your account and license are verified, you don’t need to do it again unless your license expires.
Can I change my business type after signing up?
No. Contact support if you selected the wrong business type during sign-up.
